MY CREDIT IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE.
CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE HAS PROGRAMS FOR EXCELLENT CREDIT CUSTOMERS, AND BAD CREDIT CUSTOMER, MAYBE THEY NEED A SECOND CHANCE.
YOU WILL BE APPROVED FOR THE AMOUNT YOUR CREDIT ANALYST CAN APPROVE YOU FOR. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.
References :
MY JOB

My boyfriend has a capital one, its good... for him but it all depends on you APR and monthly fees they offer you. Is this you're first credit card? If so may I suggest the orchard bank credit building credit card. My credit shot from poor and very poor at some credit bueuros too fair... but you can't spend alot cause the interest is a little high and there is a 200 deposit on it they take from your bank account you get back after a year of having the card.
References :
www.orchardbank.com

I have had 2 loans from them, very satified. If you have good credit (not lots of money) they give great rates. I got a check from them each time with no money down and if your use their auto pay system it drops your rate .5%. It sounds like the others answering your questions are not satified because they did not have good credit and can not pay their bills on time, if you pay on time, no problems.
References :
I have worked for one of the planets larges banks for almost 8 years, in the credit card division, and I agree, the card is only as good as the holder. Your APR will largely depend on your credit score, always make payments larger than your minimum, and pay it off as often as possible. DO NOT BE LATE, make payments even if you do not get a statement, it is your responsibility even if you dont' receive one. Amex, Citi, and HSBC are a few of the worlds biggest and best banks, having open credit that you don't use can actually count against you, if you have more that 3 open credit accounts that you don't use is pointless, and is a fraud opportunity waiting to happen. close them if they do not have a balance, email me if you need advise, help or questins.
References :
I love my capital one. They are always so nice and they have free bill pay over the internet. But I think that with credit cards, they are only good if you dont abuse them -go over your limit and late payments.
References :
I have never had a problem with mine, the interest rate is very good and the rewards also.

I pay mine off in full every month so I get to use their money for free and they pay me 1% cash back.
References :
Finance Manager for over 7-years.

Any credit card is only as good as the user. Misuse it and you will be back here bashing them in no time. Use it appropriately, pay it off each month etc... and you will enjoy having it in your wallet/purse. YOU are the final determination on how good the card is.
References :
Are you sure you're willing to put money away for 5 years for only 5.5% or less a year? That's only 37% or less after 5 years!

You have $100K and you'd rather NOT buy some dirt cheap stocks or foreclosed homes? (no debt, OUTRIGHT PAID OFF). You don't need to do it today, you have any of the next 2-3 years to wait for worse forcelosures and lower prices.

How about some gold bricks? Just look at how much gold and silver have appreciated the past 5 years (even today, despite the market price low, you can't buy bullion unless you pay a good 20%+ premium).

I do not like stocks or houses, but I don't have more than 20K. If I did, I'd diversify it a few places and you certainly have a lot more chances to play what other people CANNOT today. You worked hard and saved up this chunk of money, seize the opportunity!

If you've misread the rules and were not aware of the minimum deposit $100K, let me know, I'll give you a few simple ways you can flip your money 10-20% realistically every year.
References :
savings advisor, silver investor, common sense, basic math.
